It looks rather dull & retro. Reminds me of those old motorolo black chunky phones with the stubby aerial, not sure why though lol.

Hi all,
The silver was a proto and is apparently not being realeased in that colour and this isn't really a fashion phone any way the majority of it's users are going to in the business segment where a more orthodox look is required.
But which ever why you look at it, it really is a stunning bit of kit if you need it and as it's release approaches i just don't know if i will be able to resist it or if i even want to.

The first unit of Nokia E90 Communicator sold in an auction today in Jakarta, Indonesia. A businessman won the auction by offering the amount of Rp45,000,000 (US$5,000) and got "the first E90 sold in the world".
This phone will launch globally next month.
The commercial E90 offers EDGE/UMTS, WLAN, HSDPA, GPS, Bluetooth and Infrared connectivity.

it was an auction boba  highest bidder won..... of course rrp will be much less... im assuming it would have been a retail version that was auctioned  id sure hope so if i was paying $5000usd for it

Hi Boba,
It's not really that crazy as the auction was for charity i think it was UNICEF that received the money, so the price paid had nothing to do with what was being sold.
