ive tried both, and w800 is ABSOLUTELY better, first: Joystick problems have been fixed in the w800, battery lasts longer, standby clock is better, w810 is just a copy of w810, apart from all this, w810 doesent have protector lens
|

just a copy?
bar having edge, better quality screen, better looking, no joystick etc. The w800 is a poor mans w810
|

Joystick has been fixed in w800, screens look the same, edge is not very useful and if i could choose i preffer longer battery rather than edge. I am not saying that w810 is a bad phone am just saying that from w800 to w810 is no really an upgrade I think that it is about wich characteristics yo like in a phone. (Battery Duration, Lens Cover, Appearance, Edge, PRICE etc..) |

the w810i hissing on mp3 playback is horrible. Not worthy of a mp3 player, sounds like an old tape recorder without a doubt. *looks at my w800i .. kisses it *
had my w800i for 5months +. No problems with joystick. Great for games, d-pad is a little hard to use for games.

@ Prom1
LOL! As my deserving ex is just like me... a dude. Although a crazy bastard, hence EX!
Ha Ha! Anyhow, the sentiment all the same. Thanks man.
Can't figure how you've the patience to wait twelve whole days. Shoot, I had to express myself my baby ASAP. Hell, I wasn't footing the bill. |

@nalbagli, EDGE will not drain you're battery much faster than GPRS anyway. besides at average real world speeds of 90-200kbps - depending on you're providers EDGE setup, not all are equal - I could very much enjoy sending & receiving MMS, surfing & posting on Esato. I ONLY surfed on Esato for an entire year when I had my T39m back in the day ... then I sync'd my calendar.
@Spindizzy, I have to wait. No cash ... well I gotta pay rent so thats a priority. But I'm thinking of selling my $175 slightly used Nike Hammer watch to help out. Glad that you had a great night out with you're EX. Sorry for the mix up, as I forget there are different preferences amongst us humans, but I'm glad you understood my intent correctly.
Has anyone started modifying themes or using that VAR thingy that K750 has a following in. I'm curious if the W810 will support the Apple Dock mod that is currently circulating with the K750.?!
Man am I ever glad I found out about Esato 5 years ago.

Overall this is a great phone. This has everything you need in a cell phone except the fact that it does not support 3G. This has memory stick pro duo, with a 2 gb memory stick on this - who needs an ipod? Excellent phone reception, better than Razr. What else do you need. |

Price was not an issue for me as w810i was free! How people can say the screens are the same is beyond me! put them side by side and you can easily tell the w810i screen has a much brighter and more crisp display.

While the W810 may be better, but the way you put it still doesnt justify that fact. |

I'm a layman in the mobile world. Please explain "enhanced". |

I have only had my W810 for 2 and a half weeks, but i really do like it. Tbh I do miss being able to see the clock in standby, but I know you can press the volume button to make it show up.
I only really notice the "hiss" on the walkman when I actually exit and it turns off, but can't hear when listening to music.
