Thats the problem. I cant start the serial port service I have no idea why. When I check the services in k700 for my pc, it shows only 3. It doesnt show serial port. |

just a thought, goto device manager in Windows and expand Ports (COM & LPT)...
...something might show up! |

Tried it at my other pc and it worked. I started MPE and it connected fine! But today is not my day. When I clicked on Files it said something about OBEX was not initialized. Mine is on 4096. I went back to my other pc and bluesoliel could not start File Transfer service!! I reinstalled to no avail. If anyone has any helpful advice help.If anyone knows any good software other then my crappy one(Bluesoliel) plzz help!!One mere thing. I tried all of the above with my friends 6681 and it worked perfectly. Could the problem lie in my phone?k700

what version of bluesoleil r u using?
I'm using BlueSoleil 1.6.1.4 release 050606.

take out the dongle and then uninstall.

Everything solved. I did a master reset of settings in my k700 and it works now, Though i dunno why i cant sonnect serial port in my first pc . I can do everything else. I can also start MPE in my other pc. Thanks for all your help. Just not to waste this thread I thought lets start this thread for all dongle problems. |

How much did they charge for shipping? I downloaded the sp2 but on installation it says my product id is not valid!!! It came preinstalled when i bought the pc!! |
