It's not a Sony rumour.. but it might give us a glimpse on 820 if it was true
The last year king of the AnTuTu benchmark was Meizu MX4, followed by Nexus 6, but Samsung Galaxy S6 took over the crown this year scoring 68,157. Although we are still pretty far away from Nexus 5 (2015) launch, first results show astonishing performance in AnTuTu.
The smartphone scored 85,530, which is by few thousands better score than on any available smartphone right now. If the result is true, then we can only assume that Nexus 5 (2015) is powered by the upcoming Qualcomm's flagship chipset, the Snapdragon 820.
We already saw some Snapdragon 820 benchmarks, which weren't that impressive, but lets wait for new details and hope this AnTuTu score is real.

This could be fake or ... it's a Huawei version with Kirin SoC. Kirins have quick cores and very slow GPUs. |

It allegedly shows the LG Nexus
And I doubt Huawei Nexus will use Kirin...but it would be interesting If they did.
Its a Nexus, Snapdragons are loved for ease to develop for.
Rumours say
Huawei - 810
Nexus 5 - 808

If true, hopefully t line is no more which is a good thing. i don't see why they need t when there is m and c...
e=low, m and c=mid, z= flag.
i think the name also hints that sony is continuing with the numbers change and same letter also for high ends
@kurtdean
Most likely online announcement next month.

Another confirmation for another s820 device in q4 "ships q4": http://www.phonearena.com/new[....]0-5.7-QHD-display-more_id71552
so after s810 and all the recent mobile leaks s820 in sony q4 devices is kind of a sure thing.
the situation now is much different then s801 vs s805 of last year.

good read about Sony display technology
The next challenge was all about vividness and once all the colour technology was in place the main issue was how we make that experience uniform regardless of the ambient light. For the first time in Xperia Z4 Tablet we rolled out technology that allows us to change individual pixels within the display based on the ambient light around the device. So, for example we’re able to keep blacks black but brighten up whites when the device is in bright sunlight. This is a huge step forward compared with what has been available before – we could compensate for ambient light, but it was on an all-or-nothing basis. The new technology produces a really dramatic improvement. |

SONY really nailed the battery department on the Xperia Tablet Z4. It only has 6000mah battery with 2k display but can lasts around 15+ hours video playback much longer than other competitions |

Sound like the marketing department wrote that instead of an engineer. Especially funny when we all know that they buy their screens and tech from JDI or LG (or even Samsung some times). I wish Sony would spend less time on marketing names and more time on good technology.

but Sony is also part of JDI honestly it just the panels, like many TV manufacturers buy panels from other manufacturers but the imaging tech is what sets them apart. Still valid for marketing IMO. |

"we all know that they buy their screens and tech from JDI or LG" yet I guess you didn't know that JDI is made of Sony, Toshiba and Hitachi. Its these companies tech that JDI use. JDI didn't invent or use Quantum dot tech yet, Sony's tv division use this tech. My guess is that Sony now using JDI's manufacturing lab to produce the screens for their premium device like Z4. Sony's TV division created a lot of screen tech before and they continue to invent better screen tech. So stating that Sony just buy their screens and tech from JDI or other companies severely undermines Sony's effort on their display tech.
And talking about marketing. Its absolutely necessary. Samsung come to this stage simply because of their insane and effective marketing technique. So I'll say again Marketing is absolutely necessary.

How did you know they buy their display from Lg? I just want to know the source . I'm kind of interested about that just like how they used to buy sensors from omnivision during days |

Sony uses jdi, auo and sharp panels for z3: http://forum.xda-developers.c[....]sing-screens-z3-t2901214/page6 like other manufacturers they cannot rely just on jdi to produce enough panels for them. |
