Sony Ericsson Kurara set for April UK release
Sources close to the matter, who wish to remain anonymous, have stated that the phone will have a strong focus on HD video rather than photography, giving it a different angle to the Satio.

Ok so rumours say WinMo 7 is quite close.
I'm really interested what SE will propose on that....
Keeping some hints from badassmam in my mind......

Square is in fashion this year, a number of such phones from all manufacturers will appear. Robyn looks square somewhat but is it the square phone though? At CES, we saw the Qualcomm 1.3Ghz dual core processor. Its already been heavily tested but not by unfortunately. I have said a few times that Kurara is very important but it seems that it could be expensive. Robyn looks to do battle with the mid end touch screens and its about time too. Robyn could be very useful for while Kurara fights with Nokia and their XM phones which will be tough. The new Xperia phone or phones at MWC are to take centre stage, so hope for more leaks and one in particular has caught my eye for the recovery.
With regards to WinMo 7, it would not be hard for to make a phone for it. As you saw with the X2, its just like the X1 with only slight changes made. Its not that they were unable to give the X2 a 1GHz processor, its to save cost of development and cut losses if it fails. Its a bit of a losers phone because it could have been much better or with old hardware, at least be cheaper. As you can see, the X2 is late and there isn't much interest for it. Its more to do with their strategy; if WinMo 7 makes a big splash then will make a big effort with the next phone because when the X1 came out, it had top of the class in nearly all aspects which makes it a much greater device than the X2. X1 had that wow factor like the X10 has at the moment. Even though the X10 comes in March and the Nexus One is out, there is a large fan base and a lot of interest in this phone.

Ah well good points.
What is the main point here is the "wow factor" which is a sword with two edges....
I mean - if there's no "wow", there's no device or it's continuous development....?
Marketwise it's sensible - money - but at the same time we often get less choices,
because something has no "wow" factor so it's discontinued...
The hope is WM 7 will rock and will also use that.
I seriously want to stay with WM.

No, that isn't. There will be more, but they are not leaked (yet)

Sounds good. I'm wary though, nothing is appealing... |

Qualcomm's 1.3Ghz is tested by SE for upcoming Win Mob 7 device!
Robyn can be bestseller if they price it properly!
Don't know why they made Kanna?! There was much better QWERTY device in the works!

Don't get too excited. It doesn't mean that will end up in production but sure, it is a good sign! |
