I'm pretty happy with some pics made in regents park this afternoon with default settings, however the final link to my first video is not as good as I expected. I didn't have image stabiliation on, indeed it was all default settings, so I'll have to play a bit with the video. While better than any SE video I have made I did expect more quality

it was about 15:30

the other colours are very realistic but to be honest I didnt notice the sky much though I did try and take most of the pics from within a shaded area and not being a photographer, I have no idea if that affected the pictures

Just ordered a LG Prada from CPW and will be delivered on Wed. Will try to compare the pictures quality if I decide to keep it. If anyone is interest pls PM me! By the way, my N95 restart itself everytime when I tried to use the MSN Messenger programme.

it shouldnt off affected the colours in anyway really... as long as there was enough sunlight! which there looks to b plenty of...

This is common in the N73 as well and with the proto N95's there was even worse purple ting to the pics but Nokia sorted most of it out...

The Next FW release should sort it out for good...

no fone cam can beat a digi cam, not even a 5.1 cz cam, just compare it with any digi cam which has got the same cz techn inside or a cybershot cam.

re: masseur's pics

That's a tricky time of the day to shoot sky scenes. Some odd lighting can confuse a digital camera. But judging by the other colors in the shots plus the detail in the shots I think that's one heck of a camera for a phone. No, it's not a Nikon D70, but lets be realistic about what a phone cam can and cannot do.

@MissUk

As Boba has said no camera phone yet can beat the quality of a stand alone camera and as camera phones advance they may get even better but then so will dedicated camera's also.

@ Voda -Jon

I think the top Nokia Device for Video is still the N93/N93i and still shots is between the N73/N95 do you agree? The thing about shooting video with the N93 is whilst it may not be small it does mimic a dedicated DigiCam form factor which makes for easy shooting whereas the N95 mimics a stills camera of course this is just MO but makes sense to me.

After much umming and arghing i have decided at last no N95 for me I'm definitely sticking with my N93 and all the bits i will have for it as the best solution for my needs.

PS Money being paid first thing Tuesday.
