No, a factory reset does not alter an external SD card. |

I'm getting used to the screen on my Z now. It's not as bright or have as good viewing angles as TX but it's not bad at all.
I don't like the stock grey ui so I changed it back to black.
Camera is ok.
Speed is awesome.
Battery is surprisingly good.
For random's records, I have a Sharp panel.

Congrats Ricky & tapas!
I go back to ION again. Will get tomorrow a brandnew.
Unfortunately still no TX here...
Could you take some pics, Ricky? Z vs TX.
Two of my honeys.

Xperia Z speaker test with a decible meter vs. iPhone 5, Galaxy S3 and Note 2

The Xperia Z is definately the quietest of the bunch. Would be interested to see how the ZL compares in a test like this. |

Just wondering, why no one mention about vibration system?
Tested someday ago, it's like a little quake in my pocket.

Same problem here Tapas, the Notification LED is not blinking for missed/incoming events. It does not cause me any inconvenience as of now. Will wait for the firmware fix...
Tapas, looks like you were up till late night exploring the phone!!!! Your last messages are at around 2AM!!!!

Tapas, I can see the notification light working for Whatsapp. But it is not working for missed calls.

My dear friends.
I have fed up with Sony Mobile Turkey's behaviour on bringing phones to Turkey.
They have never bring T to Turkey. They have tried to sell ION as Bond Phone.
Since February we are waiting for Xperia Z and probably we are going to wait another month to receive the phone.
I have checked Sony Mobile and Sony web site for global customer services.
Does anyone happen to know a cantact mail for Sony Headquarters?
Something like info@sony.com ?

I would like to know which genius it was who decided to mess up the Z's camera with crappy post-processing. The burst shots look BETTER because they don't have whatever crappy processing Sony added to the normal shots. This person(s) should be fired because not only did it cause worse critical reviews of the Xperia Z, there is also the exponential effect of haters picking up reviews of genius sites like The Verge as gospel and spewing their crap all over the internet. Sony get your act together, this better be fixed in a future firmware update. |

This must be a bug. Shame since as you stated it looks bad in all reviews. Nevertheless, shows the hardware at least is more than capable.

@King-James I'll post some comparison photos against TX in a couple days. I'm at an exhibition in London for one of my businesses at the minute. I'll try to do some shots in comparable resolutions and different light settings.
I must say, at first glance there doesn't look like much difference between them, if anything TX looks slightly better, but I've not run any scientific comparisons, just my feeling.
Photos coming soon.
