No IndianDawg, Dogo is not waterproof, it's Japanese sibling is.
And according to Samsung 13 mp Exmor RS that it's using in Galaxy S4 is "the best camera on a smartphone to date"

@vikeviki
Not a huge difference but better nonetheless. Major improvements can be seen only in 2H flagship and onwards into 2014.
GS4 also has virtually same specs as Odin/Yuga
5inch SAMOLED 5 inch 1920x1080 screen
13 mp camera
2/3 GB RAM
Quad Core

Because selling the ERS sensors to other OEMs is profitable. |

Xperia E (C1605) entry level device
They are starting to use the same naming scheme like their Vaio Laptops )
I bet Odin/Yuga would be named Xperia S2, the H2 flagships would be Xperia T2 or Z )
and for their 6 inch Phablet would be Xperia F )

2. Dogo will be the “only” high-end announcement at CES.
3. Odin is going to be presented alongside Yuga at MWC.

But I guess S4 will use A15 not Krait like Odin/Yuga... and we all know A15 is better than Krait and Krait is better than A9... and the second point is the GPU, I donno if Adreno 320 will be that much higher than what Samsung will pack in their Exinos S4

It's just my guess ) I know nothing about 2013 Xperia Devices
I just saw their new entry phone will be named Xperia "E" so i guess they will apply the same naming scheme of their Vaio laptop to the Xperia devices )

I asked this in the T/TX thread, but no answer:
Why is there even a difference in design of T & TX? They are the same phone in a different chassis. Why release each for different markets? Couldn't Sony have simply stuck with one design (TX ) for all markets? I'm assuming Odin/Yuga will be like this?

@FMW300,
I dont know and I can't see a point of having two exact phones with same spec. but different designs... it was okay for arc/neo as neo has smaller screen... but T and TX ? it's just waste of resources...
I hope Sony does not repeat it again and perhaps I think they should work on a 1 or 2 high-ends only for the whole year and give them extended support, if they want more high-ends then smaller screen will be nice, like T and V, and now Odin/Yuga and Dogo... I don't know why there's Odin and Yuga also, why not making them as one device and focus resources on it also...

No, just buy what you like ASAP. If you wait, you may as well wait forever, because better things will always be released. |

Can anybody explain me what benefits do a user gets for waiting Odin and not buy Xperia T/V?
Quad core and other features everybody has mentioned but how far the quad core brings the excellence in software and what difference every other feature that Odin has and Xperia T/V does not make a difference?
I'm trying to compare 2012 device with upcoming 2013
T200 -> T68i -> T610 -> K700i -> P910i -> W800i -> P990i -> M600i -> P1-> Nokia E71 -> X1i -> X10 -> Arc S -> Sony Z1 -> Sony Z Ultra -> Sony Z3+ -> iPhone 6 -> iPhone 7 Plus -> iPhone X -> iPhone XS Max |
