Thanks for the tips, Makbil. Totally agree with you when you say the P990 is "A mistake and a curse". I would add that it is a disgrace as well.

Thanks, very kind of you.
But I really don't manage to delete the MMS ap as you suggest. Could you perhaps point me in the right direction to do that? Thanks a million!

I think he meant to delete the MMS settings and request new settings from your operator, not the application - you can also do it from SE web page.
P990i: A mistake, a curse and a disgrace So I lowered my expectations and settled for a P1i. I couldn't keep my expectations so low for a long time so now I have an HTC Touch HD

Thanks Makbil. I will try deleting the MMS settings manually. My phone is unbranded, but I don't think it will solve the greyed-out creation mode thing. Thanks anyhow!

yes, I meant the mms access point.

Go to:

Control panel > Connections > Internet accounts, highlight your mms settings with the jog dial and press Alt + Del.

Afterwards request it either fm your operator or fm the SE website. [addsig]

U can delete wap gsm as described in my previous post. You'll never need it. The two others are ur access points for internet and wap. U don't seem to have the mms settings. Request it fm SE's website and set the creation mode to 'warning'.

I am very disappointed at P1i because the email with Blackberry connect feature is extremely slow, it takes me 10 secs to just open one email from the inbox which means that it will take me addtional 25 minutes to gone through my usual 150 email per day. Also the interface is very clumbersome, it takes 3 point and clicks to delete one email, I am going back to my Nokia E61.

To erase in 1 clic just clic erase from keyboard, i don't know if i did understand everything, english is not my mother language

@Merlyn101, go to Control Panel-> Messaging->MMS Account->Advanced Settings->Creation Mode. There are 3 options there, select Warning or Restricted (if you want the picture resized without confirmation).
