I guess it depends on what you are comparing it to. I still have my old W810i so can make a direct comparison and its definitely louder than the W580i. |

the w580i is definately louder! through both headphones and speaker....

As I said, comparing the 2 phones that I have, the W810i is louder, but I am only referring to sound through the headphones.

I just read a w580 review: how come it doesn`t notify you when you have a missed call on standby mode? That`s a big flaw.

Yes, I read that review. And they say that w580 isn`t th only phone with this flaw. Let`s hope that w910 and k850 won`t have this problem

Hey,
I have a W880. This is not a flaw:
When you choose to have the sleep mode clock on , notification of missed calls appears next to the clock, but when this option is not activated, the screen stays black even after a missed call.
Maybe SE should change this.

TO W580i OWNERS ONLY ; I am planning to buy the W580 but I heard that it MAY have the same cracked butons problem of the S500 . Have anyone come alonge the same problem ? Thanx anyway. |

The problem was only in the 1st 10% of shipments and apparently there are no further problems but SE have said if a problem is encountered they will exchange it free of charge under warranty.
