hey guys, did you notice a difference. today i checked my ip with cmyip.com it showed 203.145.131.150 and city as chopra instead of normal 202.56.231.117 and city as delhi |

The above IP's are to test Mobile Office connection. But if u are using free net, then try pinging 202.56.230.5

Yes. U are right. Now we have a new IP for Free GPRS. But it hasn't changed for Mo.

yes you are right the ip has changed in orissa too..
but i am not able to ping 202.56.230.5

Just have a look at the screenshot below. I can easily ping 202.56.230.5 using our Free GPRS connection. By looking at ur screenshot, I think A'tel hasn't enabled DNS access in ur circle.

but when do u really find that it was enabled in u r circle...
what is use benifit of enabling DNS..
r u still using proxy? |

Your ipconfig looks like the one of Net On Phone service. Are u sure you are not dialing ur Net On Phone apn (airtelwap.com)? |

hey guyz.... i just dont know when using free gprs my default gateway is showing 0.0.0.0 ne probs with it..........????? does this affect my connection speed or something.....have a look.... and i dont know may be bcoz of this i cant ping using command prompt...... when ever i type ping 202.56.230.5 & enter..... the cursor jumps to the next line and stays like that without ne response...... cp just gets hanged....
i ping using freeping software.....and no probs with that.....
so guyz wht do u think..!!!!

hey the good old peple like jinx, alan, stayback, etc,,
a good news again for airtel simmers,,
right now working on a free sms trick on airtel prepaid!!
and i was
truly successful!!
yesterday i mesaged abt 200 sms's with just 20 as balance!!
dowloaded 100 houzee tickets of playtv!!(1 costss 10 rs so it means just 1000 rs for those sms only!!
and now my balance is just-30rs!!
but bad luck--i didnt won any prize!! think sometimes this plyatv is all bogus!! share ur experience if ane 1 has such!!!!
still working on it as now a days using airtel sim !!
not using bsnl sim for surfin as dont hav my pc and my 6600 cell with me now a days!!!
i will be right back with another new discovery in a few days!!

Dude are you talkin about free national sms? That would be awesome. I will wait for your experiment to complete with gr8 success  . Btw i hope soon we shall figure out a way to make free calls on Airtel too, which will complete the Airtel hacking and we shall have a free and full fledged gsm carrier service . Lol |

I think u shouldn't worry about DNS bcoz the 202.56.230.5 is a fake DNS server. Yesterday, I did some experiments on our free trick and found that we should use proxy to get any response.
Now talking about advantage, If you have DNS server access, then ur connection is fullfledged and there is no need to specify proxy addresses in browser settings. Think that its like MO. But in our case, it's useless.

Hi Alan,
i am using phone number as *99# and initialization code as
ATCGDCONT=,,"airtelfun.com"
I m connected at 115.2 kbps but i m not able to open any website and wapsite
wat could be the problem possible soln.
also i perform
step 7 on mobile, it say service operation failed.
i m using N3600 and using bluetooth device for connection.

As I said, you must open a bookmark in ur phone as soon as the connection b/w phone & PC has been established. Forget about Spartan's steps. They will not work on Nokia phones.

hey @irtel has launched EDGE in my circle and increase MO for 199/pM but for me its always free.. |
