COULD EVERYONE PLEASE STOP MAKING NEW TOPICS ABOUT THE UPGRADE! 
If you don't actually have an upgraded phone in your hands, please use one of the other topics that allready excists. With all these new topics we all get confused about the information. The moderators have made this topic sticky so people can find information at one place. Now it's just a mess!!! |

Let us be serious and stop beleiving that SE will release the upgrade the last day at the last minute of the week 21!
Let deduct when SE will really release the upgrade:
Different emails say it will be 10 of june ,me I received one for somewhere in june and another for end of june!
Other are saying the 2 or 9 of june!
What do you say?

I AM FROM THE UK....AND WANT TO UPGRADE MY T68M TO A T68i LIKE MANY OTHER PEOPLE......BUT I DONT KNOW WHERE TO GET IT UPGRADED.........PLEASE HELP

Just spoke to a SonyEricsson representative, he says the upgrade for the Netherlands is now set for week 23.

but i just can't get them to work yet . i get an error : mislukt Fout in GPRS netwerk

I emailed a threat of legal action to SE UKand received this reply today from David Dawson, Manger, SE Customer Services UK:
Mr ..
I would like to re-itterate the numerous communications that I have forwarded to yourself in respect of this subject.
Upon completion of thorough testing and acceptance, the software enhancement for the T68 will be made available to all T68 owners.
At no time has anyone refused you this upgrade.
As testing in the UK is almost complete we are expecting the launch of the software to be iminent, we await the release on EMMA and confirmation from Sony Ericsson Headquarters.
Upon release this upgrade will be carried out by Sony Ericsson Service Centres across the UK.
We have no intention of lying or treating any of our customers with contempt. It is in no one's interest to release this enhancement until we are confident that all necessary testing in all theatres of operation is complete. The release dates, as I have previously advised, are guidelines. As with this type of product release in all industries this date is likely to slide due to the findings of the team carrying out any relevant product testing.

Emailed a threat? Is it jsut me or does that seem a little too much just for a sw update. Yes I just cant wait for the upgrade either but they must have there reasons for the delay, you phone still works atm at least with the current update. |
