Perhaps you should checkout the W880. It has worse camera than K810, but then your friends probably do not look that god after a couple of bears anyway I guess, so the fuzzy pictures will probably just improve the appearance.

Ha ha, defeats the object though. I've only ever seen them blurred I want to take photos so I can see them when I'm sober!

Release date on SE website is May.
Should I wait for it on payg or just buy a K800i for £200.00 now and sell my w810i? |

imo u can get k800 cheaper second hand. here are many good traders, just ask for it in the mobiles wanted topic.

Played around with it abit today, it's a really nice upgrade from K800i mostly concerning the slider for the camera, it wont open all the time anymore. Besides it's thinner which is great. But I wouldn't sell my K800i and fork up the extra dough for it though, but for a newcomer to Cybershot series it's really nice!

the fact that it's thinner than others makes it very fragile. that's why i dont like these phones.

It's not that thin overall it's the same size as K800i, they've just made the part around the camera a bit slimmer, and to be honest it is kinda bulky on the K800i, plus the annoyance of the lens cover opening.

Looking at the site on the K810i it looks like theyve tweaked with the software with slightly improved presentation on the menus. I hope theyve included megabass to the phone this would really make it a totally complete phone and if they have I'd defo be the first to have one. |

HELP!!!! i have an k800i from SE and i wouldn't start.when i press de power button it flashes a red light a coupple of time at the infrared port . can you help me solve this. thanx |

Hehe, sounds like you've got a bad battery. Tried charging it? 
Otherwise it's probably a warranty issue.

How do you know its released in may?
I don't find any information about releasedates on any site, especially not on SE homepage.
I went on the SE website and clicked on 'buy the phone'. On the left hand side it give the months that each new phone is released
