Hey Guys,
I love my 905i to bits, but a simple comparison with the i-mobile 902 shows it still falls a way behind!
However, do not take this a conclusive test - after all, the 902 sample was not taken by me, but is a sample from the Show off forum! And it seems I have a lot more light to contend with - stay tuned for further comparisons...
Would love to put them both Head to Head!
Its obvious the 905i's Post processing does the damage to its captured image...

Hmm.. i never expected SO905icS cam quality would come close to the imobile 902. i mean if we look at the sharpness they are very comparable, it's just the saturation and color rendering that makes i-mobile advantageous by a wide margin(as i expected anyway). and somehow i think SO905iCS needs to lessen the JPEG compression and regulate the color balance to enable the Exmor sensor reach it's full potential. (if this was sold outside japan maybe number1, sonnarik or sadeigh could mod the camera driver ) although still i don't expect it to be as qualitative as CCD, i safely can say Exmor cmos quality is highly commendable. very great thread sony alpha!
Also, the display is no doubt excellent, black level is almost perfect, the very good contrast ratio is the quality i expected for a bravia branded LCD!

hey everyone. I just got my SO905iCS yesterday, there a question regarding to the guidance function. When I put a call on hold, there is a guidance function speak Japanese to the caller that let know the call is on hold. I tried to change the guidance into English, but I can not because I am using a non DoCoMo sim. Is it possible to turn off the guidance function.
Thank you very much.

well in my opinion this is a equal fight.......no winner in my opinion.....and if the fight will be against an N82.....N82 and even K850 are still a allaround better camera than the SO905ics or N95

Hey Dude,
Not much you can do about that unfortunately - its all in Kanji!
@LucisPower
God knows how you came to THAT conclusion - the SO905iCS wipes the floor with the K850i, and easily slaps the N82 around - I agree with razec, a bit of tweaking of Cam drivers on the 905i, and things would be spot on, to really take advantage of the Exmor Sensor!!

SO905iCS vs k850, se vs se
thats sg new
btw why are asian users privilegized over the other ones? are they better and/or more important for se? i never got that. its like nokia would release certain features only for finnish users...
