The cases that were shown a few pages back had a hole for something extra that isn't the LED and if it isn't an IR blaster I wonder what it could be?

NFC is only used for the initial connection. After this, WiFi is used for data transfer. |

These lens accessories are literally just like some of Sonys existing Cybershot cameras with a lot of the bulk removed. For example the larger one is identical to the RX100 II in a smaller package. So whatever process those cameras have to go through, I imagine these devices go through the same.

oh, ok thanks for the clarification  , I thought NFC was another type of connection I got confused about it, guess it's kind of like a trigger, never bothered to read about it until now.

Maybe that case is made for the Japanese version of the Honami, that's it leaves a space for the IR Blaster? |

I do not know about Poland but it should be available in almost all markets by end of October latest. |

Can't wait for a completely impartial review of the Xperia Honami vs LG G2 vs Lumia 1020 vs iPhone 5s without sounding biased the Honami should trounce the others and claim the crown for the smartphone of the year.

Right, that is unbiased! 
But agreed i would like a real review, not "hands on" kind of review.
What are the odds that Kaz is discussing with Son to release honami quickly in the US at sprint? They do not do sony's at softbank, but different market means it could be a win-win situation, no?
No news in this area?

Sony should take into consideration releasing special bundle packs of Honami with the add on camera-lens
I think I'm too hyped about this accessory line, but damn they're cool! ^_^
