I've resorted to just using one image per playlist, simply because it's too much hassle otherwise. I hear KD Player will support embedded album art soon.
As to why some work and some don't I don't know. Are they all the same aspect ratio?

I hope it will be fixed in future versions. And yes, most of them have same aspect radio (150x150 pixels), I suppose it can't handle many images, I have more than 150 albums all with covers. It's not a big deal for me, I can live without this function for a month or so

thanks!...thought it whould handle any resolution...now i know better.. (i'm too lazy resize the jpegs.. I have 4Gb memory-card so few mb lost on scans doesn't bother me.... ) |

I have 2GB and I wouldn't do it. Hi Resolution scan of cd cover is what atleast 500K right? That's 2 songs per 1MB, 1000 songs = 500MB.
If it's just a few songs then fair enough I suppose. Still I think your expectation of java on a phone is a little high if you expect not to affect performance of the player by using hi-res images.
If you use Winxp, look up the image resize powertoy from microsoft - you can resize hundreds of images all at once with just a few clicks - it works very well, I recommend it.

aaah..thanks wedge! for the reziser app tip!.. (never thought of that kind of app  )
perfect!... then i just use renamer (lazy as i am ) to rename the files to folder.jpg...

A question 2 all the K-series guys .......
we have now a superb player in terms of skin,album art and options ........
But the important factor is the sound .......
How much worth is the performance of the kd player in terms of the k-series music player ????
here are the options ........
A) Bad
B) Average
C) Satisfactory
D) Good
E) I'll go for the user interface !!!
F) Lacks BASS

so sad that k550s is not that easly modable as the k800s and k810s......

the answer is on this topic. There is no embedded cover art support in kd player yet. There is a work around, a painful one, if you are interested read the thread again.

just found out that when i put the kdplayer in my main menu (modified the menu.ml and put it in the place of ordinary media player) it now starts when i hit the joystick up
previously the joystick launched original player...
all off you had this figured out already i guess...
nice......thanks all for you marvelous skins etc..keep it coming!...
