All you need to know is that the P910i supports Memory Strick Pro Duos, whatever size they be, whoever makes them, be it sony, sandisk, lexar. They will all work in your P910i. Currently the biggest Memory Stick Pro Duo you can buy is 2GB, which works fine in a P910i.

so u have tried a 2GB duo pro in your p910i? If the specs stats 1GB, then it should be 1 GB, like the P800 (128mb duo max).
Anyways, a 2GB duo is about $400-$450 AUD. Im better off buying 3 X 1GB |

yes a 2GB duo pro works fine in my P910i. In theory a memory stick pro / pro duo can go upto 32GB, so the p910i could handle a 32GB pro duo, if there were such a thing. The reason it says 1GB in the user manual is because that was the highest around when the P910i was released. The reason the P800 could not go any higher than 128MB is because for sony to make bigger memory sticks they had to create a new kind, hense the Memory Stick Pro Duo which the P800 does not accept. |

What do you mean evading your answer? And yes I do have a 2GB pro duo in my P910i and it works fine, there's no reason for it not to work.
You can buy 1GB duo's here for £134.99:

This should be available now at some select Sony Store U.S.wide. I believe it was released mid-february. Might be hard to find though coz of it's price.

It does not state 1GB max, it says the P910 will accept a MS Duo Pro (limited to only what's avaiable and right now 2GB is the max). If someone come out with a 3-4 GB it will still work. As for the P800 and P900, it's limit to 128 because a regular MS duo only go up to 128mb.

Would you sell the 2GB pro duo at a reasonable cost?

i have heard rumours that with a 1 gig card in a P910 you get quite a few crashes unless you keep the internal memory free, and store all your apps on the card? anybody finding this with larger cards?? |

I apologize 'coz I've seen the info in a previous post but cant find it anymore.
Can anyone list down the usable storage capacity for the different sizes of memory cards again please? |
