T630 and Z600 are very very incomparable screenwise, but if you look closely, the T630 is crisper ... slightly.

Let's put an end to this:
They all have the same amount of pixels, but:
T610 - Old STN screen, slower and a bit "washed up"
T630 - Better TFT screen, crisp, faster, not so bad under direct sunlight
Z600 - Also TFT screen, the same amount of pixels, but the pixel size is bigger. That's why it's a bit less sharp (using bigger pixels gives an effect like digital zoom).

I damaged my t610's LCD. Now I'd replace it with t630's, but heard people who had done it had numerous problems. My question is if I change LCD and firmware, is that going to work correctly?

@Draqula Thanks! You said exactly what was needed @Blayv You could have some problems since the T610's firmware doesn't support TFT screens. It could work getting the T630's firmware but don't know how it would work with the T630 having a VGA camera. |

Smaller pixels is better, so t630 screen wins. @blavy, yes it will work.

So is that final? The T630 wins?

The Z600 has a slighty brighter and bigger screen than the T630.
Z600 40x32mm. T630 36x28.5mm.
The style covers rock, too.

Qoatro claimed that there could be problems cause T630 has a VGA cam.
I own a T630 and having the latest firmware can say for sure that T630 has the same pixel size camera as T610, that is CIF. In the menu it does have an option to set the resolution to VGA (640x480), but that's just virtual, blown up, like digital zoom. |

I understand that this thread is an interesting theoretical conversation, but...
There's no practical value. If the size is important, you get the T630, if it's not and you like flip, you get the Z600. The difference in screens in my view is next to nothing.
I think that T630 is a good choise for young people who don't think much of phone multimedia but value classical looks and the Z600 is an excellent choise for those who want easy control over phone - a big clear screen and comfortable buttons. |

i didnt like a camshell so i only had to choose form T610 or T630 and i compared the difference at the shop and brought the T630 instead
almost a year now and i love the phone, i have 2 sims, one is in the T630 but i need another so will be getting the K750i and will keep the T630 for the old sim

What's final is that neither win.
It's just a matter of taste which you want. If you want a candybar-phone: T630
If you want a clamshell-phone: Z600
