Pardon me, but is it very stupid to use non-official gateways to log in your email accounts, providing your username and password to this website may just make your g-mail address disappear someday |

Oh, depending on what you are on with (Network) it may be different. I emailed Vodafone a few weeks back, and they suggested that for now, all you could have access to was..Vlive Mail.... |

I'm able to read my gmail email's on my P910 using the built-in email client.
It really is simple, you canNOT access pop.gmail.com from your phone. What you have to do is to set up a yahoo account. You can access pop.mail.yahoo.com from your phone.
Forward all emails to your yahoomail, then access ur yahoomail thru your phone, voila! Now you can read ur gmail emails thru yahoo pop server!

Hi guys,
I'm new to this forum, just wanted to join the lively discussion being a K7 owner interested in gmail on it. Just tried gmail settings, thanks to mb-new who shared the settings.
Just wanted to let you in on a new development. I entered the settings yesterday, and like you all it kept displaying "server found" and then nothing happened. Well today, after saying "server found", it displayed "sending email" then after a while said " sending failed", would that signify anything?

Outgoing server: smpt.gmail.com
Outgoing port: 465
E-mail address: xxxx@gmail.com

Yep, Gmail doesn't yet support SE phones. Some on here claim to have it working but you'd have to flash to a specific firmware.
