Is the Orange access pack still available @ £4/months cos you can use Opera with gprs wap for free. Worth getting if they still have it.

Oh sorry i forgot to mention in my original post that the 45 notes you pay for this not so unlimited bundle is still subject to vat bringing the total price to 52.87 per month, NOTE: that if you continue to download more than 100mb per month Orange reserve the right to move you to the GPRS 200mb bundle which will cost you a whopping 105.75 including vat!

There is a "Fair use" limit on nearly all forms of data transfer.
Broadband companies are now starting to put limits on their internet. BT, for instance, puts a limit of 1gb per Month!!!! on their broadband service. What's the point of fast internet if you can only download 1gb a month. NTL used to call their broadband Unlimited...they removed that word when they enforced a 1gb per day (Better than bt) limit on the service. Same with GPRS. O2 give you free gprs, but i know they'll bar you if you misuse the free service. |

Fair Use? So what legally constitutes fair use? Legally Fair Use is the use of a service for the purpose intended, and without illegal or criminally intended purpose. So if you pay for a sevice and it's marketed as UNLIMITED, and they also put a Fair Use policy on it with a specified limit they are misrepresenting the product in breach of the law. It is in no way, or ever could be unlimited, as the tariff has a preset limit.
Even though the product has small print stating the limit, you would have a good case to have the contract revoked as it is misrepresented as a product.
BUT that said never sign anything without reading the small print.

This deal is actully a bargain. Its only £25 a month exc vat for the first 12 months! Then 45 a month after. 100mb for a normal customer would =£300. Even on my staf rate its = to £100.

Yes, u can use it to terminate a contract but the lawyer costs u twice the amount u'd pay to terinate that contract.Just don't buy it if u think it is misleading. And i know, it is.
