Ive done some animation etc before, animation only in Maya, and for all my nice renders (not too many) I used 3DsMax 6. Just 'cause there are no watermarks in 3DsMax trial version, so my renders come out nicely.

If you're really interested, I can post a few pics of the mech I made in maya (i made it walking and gunning, with all the lights from the chain guns included etc... Pretty cool. Can anyone guess where I got the idea from?
Cockpit:

Whole

I textured it and animated it, but due to many formats since then, I lost both the file and images...

Edit: I just saw your animation, pretty cool! However, I think the ship should be more distinctive, or shown for a longer time, 'cause it kinda looks like something from an adult shop .

aaahh ! wow thats pretty cool, i dont even come close to that , the idea's from matrix reloaded, man i wish i could do something like that

btw the ship was the result of 3 hours work. After 3 hours when i didnt get the shape i wanted, i got angry and just moved my mouse randomly..... zip.... zip.... zip..... and thats how it got the 'Z' shape The ship -

post the video of the robot moving and walking. I'm not that good in working with maya so i stick with 3dsmax.

Are there any good tutorials on the net ? for 3dsmax and maya ? Maybe you could write one ?
