No, the Bluespoon doesnt have the jawbone microphone yet. It will come later on. This was also written in an earlier post a long time ago, but You probably havent seen that post
The microphone on the Bluespoon is the silver-part that sticks out in the lower part of the Bluespoon. And its not a retractable microphone, its a so called built-in "external" microphone. (jawbone-mic is internal)
I've tested the jawbone microphone in a lab, that can simulate all kinds of enviroments. Tried it with e.g. a football-stadium. A lot of noice in there !
The jawbone microphone is noice-cancelling at its best. You dont hear the noice in the background at all.
Hehe,..no you wont sound like an alien
You can read more about the jawbone microphone under "Invisio" on :

Yep : Visiting-hours are from 9.30 to half past nine,..hehe
Epedemic just asked if Nextlink had visiting-hours
And needed "test-people".
Right now we're testing "in-house",..so for the moment we dont use test-personal, but heyy,..who knows ? When we become as big as e.g. SE,..we might need some ppl to do some testing

Yep,..I'll do
But then again it would be quite hard to find "bugs" in a headset, hehe.
Its not really that complicated. Its nothing like a phone, when it comes down to features.
But I'll let them know, that we have a "tester"

yup i know that.. but everyday use is a good way of discovering "show-stopping" bugs (as they call it in the gaming industry)... |

each day I am risking a 138 euro fine by making phonecalls in my car. I'am almost tired of waiting for the release date and even consider of buying a normal (with wires) headset. Please give me a sign. I don't realy care about the price (considering I am risking a 138 euro fine everyday)
SO JAN, show me the release date especially in the Netherlands or somewhere I can buy it on the net.
Please |

Well, I did write it earlier on,..it is to be released in june, and the press will most likely have it out in may. So for now, things are working out the way they should.
About pricing,..talked about this too before. It will be approx the same as the other bluetooth-headsets out there
The thing (problem) is,..I dont go to Nextlink every day,..therefore I dont always have the "newest" info. I do usually get it,..but it depends a lot on when and where, and if the people are in the building, when I'm there
You can be quite sure, that you ppl in here, will be the first to know
I'll try to hear, if theres any news on the famous modules,..and try to get the latest info on monday.

Great work from your team Jan, those models are eye-catchy. Any idea when they will be released in India? Do you have offices in India or a dealer who can show us these products / prototypes? My friends and I are quite interested in your products.
Thanks for making the world a little bit smaller |

Maltesh > Thanks
No, I dont have a resellers list yet. Its still under "construction" I believe The whole idea is to be as "world-wide" as possible. That of course does not include every country from the beginning/release,..that I think, would be an impossible task. But I believe many countries will join/come along shortly after the release.
There are no release-dates/prices on any of the new products at this moment. The most improtant issue right now, is the Bluespoon itself, and getting it "on the way".

Thanks Jan,
I mean those products look gorgeous! I can't wait to get my hands on them. I will also inform a few of my buddies who are mobile dealers to contact you maybe so that they can tie up for dealerships. I am sure they would like that.
Cheers! |

SPOONPLAYER bluetooth MP3 player with SD or MMC-cards. Pairing is done with headset.
"Toshiba Corporation today unveiled a new concept in data storage with the announcement of a compact, lightweight BluetoothTM-enabled mobile storage device able to hold up to 5GB of data."
Could this be somehow paired to the MP3 player and also be paired to the headset? Would make for some interesting times...
