nope, it has an inbuilt torch ap on the video screen it says "torch" on or off and you can use it through that. not like the k800i that needed an application, on the first light on the video thats the torch

i Actually sold my c905 yesterday and placed an order on a N82 again.

I liked the c905 mainly for the cam but i just donīt like the slide thing. I also felt the keyes a bit tricky to text quickly on, not that wonderful responsiveness and i often pressed a key twice by mistake.

Didnīt experience any major problems like so may other people though with earpiece dying and other stuf. A little wobbly slider and the navi button little diffuse in the down direction. Nothing major at all but anyway.

Im going back to the N82 because im more of a candybar man and there is no other option in my eyes. I miss the pre-loaded maps and i think the N82 is the best allrounder out there of the candybars. It feels rock solid and this will be my fifth one I find my way back everytime after trying some other "cool" phone

When SE makes a candybar model with c905 features i will buy it

It must be cool to know how many km we have walked in outdoor footing/jogging
I think I will ask my friend to do a ''try it for 1 day'' so I can deeply try it before accepting a deffinitive trade,I just hope he will not scratch the 5800 screen

make sure he doesnt scratch your phone! give him a pouch if you have one for anything.

you dont have to worry about scratching the c905 screen, i have been careless with mine leaving it with coins in my pocket but no marks at all good scratch resistant screen! but do take care

Accuweather application on C905 seems to be ''old school'' with old gfx compared to the ones on HTC,iphone and S60v5
I hope we could get a better gfx app for weather

Interesting fact: on mid-February a new firmware for C905 will be released, AFAIK it contains some updates for the camera but it may have more.

I tried it yesterday night for 1 hour,I was nearly swaping my nokia 5800 with my friend's C905 BUT this SE phone deceived me a little:
-keypad is not SMS and MSN chatting friendly(wich I most use in a phone)
-The screen seems made of exellent materials but the resolution is too small compared to the superb 640*360 of the 5800! If only SE did a resolution of 480x360 it would have been the best screen ever...but no!
Camera is incredible for a phone but it's not the only thing I use in a phone ,browsing and chatting are not funny here because of the strange keypad
Yes the slider wobble a little horizontaly (1mm)
It's really a pitty that SE didn't made a better keypad and resolution in a time most screens are not only way bigger in size but also in resolution!
It's like Sony had some stock of LCD screens that were made in 2007 for the w910 and didn't want to waste them so the used them in the C905!!
Bad SE! BAD!
Now I am stucked with a nokia
yea g

Yeah nice upgrade over the k850's browser but still when you get used to super sharp wallpapers thanks to superior resolution it's difficult to return to 320x240! Even fonts seems like comparing a PS1 with a PS3
But I liked the business design and keypad colors specially when they turn to blue in photo mode, the slider is nice and give a good ''chlak'' sound
Don't tell me that SE will still use 320x240 with the upcoming C903?
