@ashlyjay: Here are the correct settings. Use a Smart sim and then select the Internet profile Smart Internet.

> Select "New Account" then enter the Account Name (Example: Gmail)
> Select the Data Account on the option labeled "Connect Using" (Example: Smart Internet)

> Connection type: POP3
> Incoming server: pop.googlemail.com
> Username: (Complete Email Address)
> Password: (Gmail Password)
> Outgoing server: smtp.googlemail.com
> Advanced settings:
>> Encryption: SSL for both Incoming and Outgoing servers
>> Outgoing username: (Complete Email Address)
>> Outgoing password: (Gmail Password)
>> Incoming port: 995
>> Outgoing port: 465
Then after that, you need to install some certificates on your phone. Click the following link to download the certificates. (http://rapidshare.de/files/40248724/Certificates.zip.html)
It works perfectly on my K800i. It will not work on either myGlobe CONNECT or myGlobe INET. It only works on either Smart GPRS or Smart Internet.

@heara: yes you need to bluetooth the certificates or use xs++.
@ashlyjay: neither yahoo mail nor gmail works in globe. Just use smart. If you want to access yahoo mail for free on your phone, use opera mini or go to ph.m.yahoo.com/p/mail using the default browser. It is free of charge.

there's a lot of threads regarding xs++ in the software, firmware and drivers section. you can try searching. anyway, you can download xs++ from 4shared.com.
