I hate building again all my settings, and all others. I know i can can restore, resend, and all that. yet, that is wasted, non-value spent time. |

i think p990i wouldn't have any new of RAM just like ajack said..

What i see is that w950 seems to have around 2mb more at boot with this fw. So, even if the p990 does not have the same total amount, a 2mb increase would be great. But, the question remains, will it leak after like before...its that the most important thing

if you remember ajack said the R5A has about ~16MB after a fresh reboot.so we should not expect too much of the new firmware so even if the new firmware would be released by tomorrow i'll count till 9999.32 then update  )

Our W950i had before FW update 23.6 MB free memory.....
......After update.......26.2 MB free memory......
Our M600 Before....21.1 MB......
After.......22.7 MB.......
P990 Before........16.2 MB......
After......19.8 MB........
Hope this heps you guys. apart from the extra memory at startup the M600 and W950 FW's make little difference IMHO as they were stable (ish) on R4B and R5A respectively.

Good news then...remember ajack had just one of the test versions of r5...and se-unlock another, so the final version should be different. But, knowing if it still leaks like before is the question, has i said before. One more thing - did the w950 firmware before this one come near the date of last p990/m600 firmware?

these numbers are with reclaiming memory with swiss manager or the first time directly after updating?
the most RAM i got after firmware update is~18.3MB(without swiss manager ofcourse)

I have updated my fw and now I cannot install anymore the Italian language in my phone. I guess I have to wait for a new versione of the language even though last time I updated I installed the language without problems.
anyone else with the same problem?

you have to wait for SE to release a language file for the new organizer firmware version...normally it happens after a few days

How many applications have you installed on your phones? I've got around 80 on my P990 and I really can't get more than ~14 MB RAM on startup.
