even if the p800 didnt have t9 i dont think its hard to add one to it!

It's predictive text input, t9 is just one of many, others are iTap, ezitext.
Say you want to write hello, then you press 4-3-5-5-6, and t9 predicts
what you want to write. |

They're more or less the same.
My guess would be that you have one of them in your current phone,
since all newer ones have it... What phone are you using? |

I tried one last week. No T9 to find anywhere. I think they figured you would use other methods when you want to write text. I cant say if its good. I type very fast with T9 and got used to it. Almost as fast as i do on a normal-size computer keyboard. But even if it had T9 i dont think the keys would be good enough on it to write fast with as on the T68. The keys are a little hard to press and since they go through to the touch-screen i think they are a little slow. Or maybe its just to get used to it.
I tried the character recognition a little but i cant say anything about it. I am not used to writing that way so it may be that you can do it fast after using it for some time.
The things that make me doubt if i want it is
No T9
Bad keys?
Is it to big for my pocket?
Memorystick. (yuck) |
