I had a similar experience with Paypal. The guy called for a charge back as it was a stolen C/Card. I then promptly lost £150 odd. Its obvious to anyone who knows the score that this was deliberate and yet Paypal made their decision to refund this guy with their eyes closed.
Hence i refuse to use both Paypal and eBay.

someone mentioend nochex there, and I have to say, I did use nochex and accepted it for over a year, but in that ime I had 2 people pay, the 1st perrson was the one person who left me neg fb, but that was because he didnt want to pay 2.50 postage on a 99p game, and the other was fine, but the problem is no one uses it as its not built into ebay at all, thats why paypal have 86million mebers, because just about 95% of them are ebayers

Paypal, i only use to buy things, not to sell anymore. They are theiving bastards not concerned with the public at all. They leave it open to make money off the back of scammers and genuine folk, i was a power seller, and had £1500 protection and that meant nothing when someone didnt receive a phone, accused me of scamming him and started a paypal complaint. Paypal returned his money and i was left high and "Wet" no phone and no money! I want to start my own online banking community. Like paypal or nocheck but better. Paypal are rude and unhelpful, but now they are owned my ebay its just about the most lucrative way to make money especially after the their so called "fees". Some one needs to put a stop to all of this.

Lukes right, paypal sucks, theres a website called ihatepaypal.com or something, a forum, where everyone gets there bad experiences put together, and sent off 2 paypal, trying to fix this unfair system!!

Hey luke, sorry to hear that my friend. Hmmm i know its a long shot but you could advertise on ebay and offer fellow estonions to make an offer to make u take it off sh*t-bay? I know it means advertising fees but it works both ways? I personally hate ebay and paypal. Only like buying lol. But unlike any1 else we all have to sell somewhere. |

yeh, in theory I could, and am open to offers from esatoarians all the time, but the problem is i have like 90 faulty sony mp3 players right now, and to be honnest the only place I can sell them is ebay due to having so many, + only people who repair stuff is going to want them lol.
I was shocked today, I bought a laptop off a guy, small time seller and he achually prefered paypal even thoguh he had to pay almost £20 in fees, thats crazy isnt it

I have personally stayed off both paypal and ebay. The former's policies are simply unacceptable to me. I use Graphcard for all my online payments and they have served me well.

cant you not specify that you prefer other methods of payment? like Bank transfer etc etc?

I have been caught by people using stolen credit cards on paypal, I called paypal but they just said if they did checks on the card before they gave me the money it would slow things down. Personally I'd prefer that then they keep clawing back the money and being out of pocket.
I have just registered with nochex, they say they dont clawback the money, anyone any experiance of nochex? |
