Would be good, but you have to think about the extra buttons on the front, and the shape of the d-pad. If its possible it'll require a new PCB & keypad/joystick. Im not sure, given the choice (and i suppose how expensive the parts would be) whether i would change mine or not. I do quite like the white/cream of my W800 anyway, but this is a fresher look. |

Yeah... I guess.... I forgot all about the activity menu button of K750 . Apart from that the rest would fit (if the housing fits, those additional buttons wont be a problem, they’ll be just there non functional. but without a corresponding button for the activity menu no point in even trying) |

It may look nicer in real life, you never know until you see it.
About the changing housings thing, it appears the W800 & W810 have different dimensions
W800 = 100x46x20.5 mm
W810 = 100x46x19.5mm
So i dont reckon this is going to be possible... depends on how big 'that' millimetre is

I'm inclined to agree with that reasoning...and it has been a while since last dedicated camera phone. I think this is why they have left of the lense on the w900/810. Perhaps the next camera phone will be a W810 with lense cover maybe a K950?

Well, the display of the W900i has QVGA resolution so maybe this is the reason..

No thats not the reason the reason is W810 hardware is more or less the same as W800, which is not capable of recording high resolution videos. However, nothing is confirmned regarding this issue. But it is likely the case.
The W900 uses a dedicated GPU from nvidia (GoForce 4800).

Its also mentioned in NVIDIas Third Quarter Fiscal and there was pressreleas about it to (can't find it now).

Well its definately on my list to get next
I had a K750 and loved the hell out of it before I got it wet (jumped in the pool with it in my pocket)
I like the look of the K750 more then the W810, but then again I liked the T637 better then the K750 then when I got the K750 totally loved it

from what i have *heard* (a very reliable source) the K750 successor isnt going to be announced till later this year. Cebit will bring about more walkman phones and maybe a non walkman phone but it wont be a defenite k750 update. i could be wrong, but i could be right for this is coming from the woman that told me the W810 was coming this january, last november!

That's what Eldar at MR also said last year. So I think you can trust your source. |
