slightly worse size

slightly??? man, you are really a joke

i guess you also think the weight and the battery are also slightly worse, as well as the price lol

why donīt you put this in this perspective: a mighty n series phone, that is much bigger, much heavier, has hyped CZ glass lenses, costs the same as a laptop, - takes worse photos, donīt matter if itīs slightly, than the k750 - well, i see this as a faillure lol With all the stuff i mentioned, it should take better photos than the k750...but it doesnīt

You have to look at it in perspective.

To those who desired smartphone features, smartphone size a huge improvement when compared to a laptop. So different in size between K750 & N90 becomes insignificant if you see it from this angle.

why are you just pre-occupied with camera camera camera. Ah, I think I know. That's the only thing you could talk about for a K750.

But Arez is allowed to mention the camera, the K750 is a cameraphone! He is right in what he says. To put all those features in to a new phone and have it that size is no big deal. Where is the great leap forward exactly? The brickia is huge even by year 2000 standards. It should have been the size of a 6630, THAT would have been cool.

mib1800, for the 100th time, both k750 and n90 are marketed as revolutionary cameraphones, and the camera is their most talked feature...so itīs obvious to analyze both in this prespective...if you think that is wrong, and that n90 should have been promoted a different way, go tell nokia

nokia promoted it like it was a photo wonder handset, the best ever, but sadly it lost to a much cheaper handset like the k750 - that is a faillure, like it or not

sure. arez can mentioned it. K750i is cameraphone. You can use camera to say K750i beat N90. However, N90 is also a smart/3G/multimedia phone. So it should OK for me to say N90 beat the K750 in these aspects. Seems like hypocricy to me if anyone have any problem with this.

"photo" set. I thought Nokia promoted N90 multimedia. Since you started this. How about we talk about about video recording/streaming, multi-format media support, big and high resolution screen, full screen high frame rate playback, bundled multimedia software... It is quite obvious K750 will be put to shame here. Need I say more

No shame...k750 never pretended to be something it isnīt...as a product it achieved entirely its objectives, with great sucess. Please, get real And remember, k750 doesnīt have any Carl Zeiss sticker lol

You talk about features that were never mentioned for the k750, no one buys a k750 for that...need i explain, AGAIN, what makes k750 a killer phone (that n90 isnīt)???? Iīm tired lol

By the way, did you or will you buy the brick with the CZ sticker, that you seem to like so much???

Now you have said it Exactly. So no one buys the N90 just for its camera ONLY!!!. I agree with you if all you want is a good camera ONLY, then K750 would be a killer phone but not in any other aspects. If you want a true MULTIMEDIA then N90 would be a killer phone.

Me buy N90? No. I am waiting for N91 which is the true killer device -WIFI, 2MP, 4Gb disk space + 32Mb internal, mini-USB port/drive, standard jack, Series60 smartphone, 32Mb RAM (no more RAM problem when multi-task many programs together).

@mib1800

This K750i v N90 comparison is really boring me.

But you are comparing features of the N90 to features that the K750i doesn't have!!!!!!

If I walked into a shop looking for a 3G smartphone do you really think I would expect the Sales Assistant to present me with a K750i? Really?

He'd have a screw loose if he did now wouldn't he?

The K750i is a camera phone so the cameras can be compared.

However, I think the best way these two products can be compared is on their success.

The K750i = runaway success The N90 = questionable?

The thread, according to the main article, is about why it is doubtful that the N90 will be successful and thats because of its bulk, and probably because it looks like hell on a Monday morning!!

If you have read thru my posts, I am not trying to compare these 2 phones at all. My stance is always they belong to 2 different categories.

It is only SE fans who implied that since K750 camera is better and physically smaller than N90 will make the N90 look like a dumb buy (and thus success in doubt). K750 fans seem impervious to the fact that N90 is not just about, for the n-th times, camera, camera, camera. And the fate of N90 is never tied to how K750 performed.

K750 - is a runaway success?? Sure if the buyers main consideration is just the camera. There is no better camera phone now. I myself would buy the K750 if camera is my only consideration. See, I do give credit where credit is due.

For someone who needs some computing power, it would look worse than hell if he/she needs to carry the K750 + notebook on a Monday morning rush hour.

For the 100th time, is not just the camera, but the camera is the highlite!

Itīs the combination of great camera + great video/music/games player + great phone

It allows you to skip using 3 separate devices to get quality, because it does all the 3 things superbly, and it fits in a shirt pocket

@arez.

If you leave out camera, physical size and price, the N90 would absolutely without doubt leaves the K750 far far behind. (keeping my finger crossed that you are not so myopic to suggest otherwise).

If you leave out physical size and price and bring the camera into equation, it would not change a thing because K750 camera is only slightly better than N90.

The only way you can put K750 and N90 in a comparsion is when you zoom in on just physical size/price factor ONLY. Other than that N90 is in the premier league while K750 is in 2nd division. As the saying goes:-"one should know one's position in the order of thing and not try to be something that one's not".
