I'm on HyDrOG3N-ICS now. Android 4.0.4.

They fixed 1080p video recording and now everything is perfect, especially the battery life. Personally, I find it much more efficient and definately faster than stock ICS. Would recommend to anyone. Two downsides (not to me): FM Radio and MHL aren't implemented.

Backing up my Resurrection rom and busy downloading the HyDrOG3n ICS 4.0.4.Just watched a YouTube Video on it and what has sold me into trying it is the ROM Control in Settings.
Let you know what I think of it.

Wheres the fancy task manager when holding down your home hardware key????????

Fixed ROM Control => Navigation bar => "Long press home action" => Show recent.

So far so good.

Love the new camera layout taken from the Galaxy Nexus.Very cool.

You can also set your CPU with ROM Control>Tools>Performance.(Overclock 1600MHZ/Underclock 100MHz/Scaling Governor/Voltage Control/Set At Boot) Pretty much SetCPU built inhouse.

Have to admit it was nice downloading a rom that was a measly 97mb (another 50+mbs for the GApps) compared to the 330mb monster Samsung ROM's.

Bonovox

Im so dizzy from all the different Galaxy 3 leaks that I think its best just to wait for the 'real thing' to get released before i do any oo-ing and ah-ing.

If it looks anything like that phone in the pic then all I can say is

Unfortunity even with all the bells and whistles this HyDrOG3n ICS 4.0.4 ROM aint cutting it.After using Resurrection Remix PRO v1.1 it just feels sooooo heavy in comparison.Switching back. There are some nice touches on this ROM but I think overall it still needs a bit of work to compete with Wescrips Resurrection v1.1 smoothness and speed.

Sorry to have bored everybody but I like trying out all these different ROMs.Always curious when it comes to development.

There was something just not right with the HyDrOG3n ICS 4.0.4 ROM.(Im sure once he perfects it he will be a force to be reckoned with in the development ROM world) I was getting an average of 3300 running Quadrant and occasionally it would drop to 2900.So I thought I would overclock it to 1600MHz and I still got a score of +-3300.Its almost like the CPU setting in ROM Control is just superficial and nothing is happening.

Compared to Ressurection + Siyah kernels average of 4200+ (got it as high as 4420).Overclocked you sitting at +-4800.

Lots of people disregard Quadrant scores but in this case I could feel the difference between the two ROMS speed and smoothness wise.

When does all this ROM changing end????
Restored my stock ICS.
All this updating every week and changing kernels that have been updated is all started to make me go potty.
This stock ROM is pretty solid and I forgot how much I actually like Touchwiz.
Cmon Checkrom.Put me out of my misery.Thats the only ROM when I was on Gingerbread that I stuck with.

Im loving stock Samsung ICS, i flashed to LP4 now and its even better as it includes the South African English language pack, something LP7 didnt have.
I dont know why people hate TouchWiz so much, i dont mind it, very customizable and unique in its own way, I especialy like its bright and colourful icons on top of black backgrounds as it truely brings out the jaw dropping infinite contrast and true blacks of the Super AMOLED Plus display. One of my uni classmates is on a mission to get a GS2 once her upgrade comes, she always asks me what software my GS2 has (she means OS), and if its good at the simple things she does, she is SOOO inlove with its display its not even funny she's quite blonde (very pretty though so gets away with it) but ask her whats better between an iPhone and GS2 and she will give some very impressive reasons and her number 1 trump card is the GS2's display.

Used my X10 yesterday then went back to the GS2, experience is like night and day, the GS2 with ICS is so fast, smooth and the display is just mind blowing when you go to it.

Well that's why it has sold in the millions Touch Wiz some people say it was confusing or crap. How can it be confusing?? It is just Samsung's own icons over Android I read someone wrote that somewhere. I miss the GS2 now but I would move upto a future model when upgrade time comes again. A Galaxy Note in white would be nice

The new Hydrogen-ICS ROM is perfect. 3300 in Quadrant @ 1.2GHz. Fast Charge option is just amazing. The battery charges extremely quick and no side-effects on my device. The slugginesh is gone. Had to replace Nova Launcher with Apex and the music player with CM9 Music. Everything is now top notch and I'm staying. Samsung ROM no more, AOKP all the way!
