I prefer the term Iranian to Persian. 
My dad's Iranian and my mum's Turkish and I live in Britain, screwed up, eh?
Unfortunately I don't know a word of Farsi. Damn.

unfortunately after Arab invasion,lots of arabic words got stuffed into our language,but after all it is still one of the most beautiful languages all around the world i believe(well count this as my prid ),really INFLUENT ,you must have heard of rich persian poems
