They are basically same phone targeted for different markets. I doubt you will see both in your country.

Actually not. They are both software based. Also unknown13x is saying all 3 - T/TX/V have the HDR function. Let's wait and watch.

Really ? I thought that HDR function was a hardware thing in the sensor, and the new display in V is the reason for the feature...

This is what I don't get it. They both look different so they're not the same. From what I understand, In some market T won't be available and TX will be there. So basically, they miss out on T which is clearly different from TX

@Xajel

It's only software based HDR. Hardware HDR feature will be available only when Exmor RS sensors are used and the T/TX/V use the exact same camera which doesn't support hardware HDR.

So this one is taking two pictures with different ISO then combining the best of two pics... if this is the HDR then yes it's only software...

Yea, I was thinking they are software features. Bravia Engine before is just a software feature to enhance colors and what not. I thought the screen on the XV was simply an intouch screen, not a special "whitemagic" screen, but i may be mistaken.

HDR should be software since the stacked sensors aren't used yet. The audio features should be software as well since there's no mention of an additional DSP anywhere.

Would be FANTASTIC if all these features are ported to the XT. Obviously, Sony isn't going to do it otherwise they would have just done it already, but I'm sure some geniuses over at XDA will find a way It would make the XT, truly, a flagship device sans the water resistance.

Exmor RS is the hardware HDR...

Software HDR will only be available in images... but the Hardware solution in Exmor RS will make it available also in Video... + in still images with faster shooting... software HDR is only possible in still scene.. any moving objects won't be good with this solution

If UK release date is Sept. 26th, what would that say about the other releases? US, Global, etc? I'm just thinking there might be a formula I'm not aware of...

on another note, I wonder if the Sony Xperia UX platform have the same "App Association" as the HTC Sense? I hate it, where it have to use it to a specified app. it's annoying. I like it to set on "Ask".
Like saying when I open a link, I choose between the 4 browser app I had installed. sometimes a different browser. With the updated 4.0 ICS, I don't have that option.

Hopefully Sony Xperia UX don't have that issue.

Sadness...

The AT&T version of the T looks so ugly! Sure, there's a metal back, but it's only for the middle portion which adds seems. Plus they took away the gorgeous xperia logo on the front for their stupid globe logo. wtf is that! Sigh.. IS LTE worth this? I'm not sure. Not sure if i can get a subsidized price either, so i may just get the international version once it's available from a reputable seller in the US.

Damn you AT&T!!! *shakes fist firmly in the air!*
