Hey
1. I have renamed the LEFT_SOFTKEY_HOOK.itm to LEFT_SOFTKEY_HOOK.tar
2. i have extracted it with winrar
3. i have opened the LEFT_SOFTKEY_HOOK.xml with editor
4. i have changed "" to ""
5. i repacked it to tar and renamed it to .itm
6. in TPA/PRESET/SYSTEM/CUSTMENU i have created a new Folder called LEFT_SOFTKEY_HOOK
7. in this folder i copied the LEFT_SOFTKEY_HOOK.xml and the walkman.png
8. i have deleted the cust_menu_data.dat & cust_menu_done_unpacking.dat
9. i have flashed in TPA/PRESET/CUSTOM the LEFT_SOFTKEY_HOOK.itm
10. i switched on my phone
11. it shows me at the left softkey the walkman.png if i klick the left softkey it opens the Media Center also the menu who i can switch between photo, music, camera..
13. If i flash the normal Files also with "MediaPlayer" then the icon will shown up but if i klick the softkey nothing appears
12. I wouldnt open the Media Center I would open the NOW PLAYING screen
13. I dont understand what i make false?????? im a expert on pc i modded my PSP and this is realy harder as phone modding and dont say read this thread i have read it for 5 and my desktop is full of right and left hooks^^
14. I hope you can help me and thanks for your HELP

Everything worked out fine. Now it looks clean.

You can get in on page no. 1. The hooks are posted by a great guy, jigonx. Before installing it please read the first few pages carefully to avoid the trouble.

Does anyone know the command for the "Messaging"?
I want to change my right softkey to go to Messaging.

Hmm I put a RIGHT_SOFTKEY_HOOK.itm in my tpa/preset/custom but when I restarted my phone the right softkey turned into a "blank".
Not sure how to do this... |

Yup, I did, nothing happened!
Maybe I don't know the correct code for "Messaging"... here is my itm hook code:

I placed this as "RIGHT_SOFTKEY_HOOK.itm" in tpa/preset/custom, boot up, did master reset. Didn't work!
Do I have to modify more files to get it to work?

Here upload these to your menu folder & your desktop hook for now playing should work now.
This replaces your alarm icon with a walkman icon that now opens
the now playing option. Your alarms can now be found in organizer.

i have a couple of problems...
after 2 hours i finally got the walkman logo to go to the media center... i want it to go straight to the music player's now playing, but i am tired and i am afraid i dont know how to do that. if you guys could please help me get to the now playind music part i would really appreciate it.
second problem, my mini opera logo will not connect on the right soft key. it shows the logo but nothing happens when i press it... i dont have the normal mini opera. its this version Link text...
does it matter that i have this version?
please help me. i am a noob and as you have hopefully read... it took my 2 plus hours to just to get the logo working.
and by any chance if i ever get the opera soft key working, can anyone please make me right soft key image for this version of operamini with this logo please?
i would really appreciate if someone could do this for me.
