My first mobile was a Motorola D170 on Vodafone PAYT - September 1998, I think. I gave it to my ex about 15 months ago when her N*kia died. I wish I hadn't, as she decided to throw it against a wall when she was p*ssed

My first is the MOTOROLA ULTRA CLASSIC, bought feb.93, that time it cost me Php 14k, very durable! My car once rolled over it, but no problem.

I got my first phone back in '92. It was a Motorola MR1. It was one of the first digital flip phones, so I've been told. Dunno if thats true?

My first phone was an NEC 9B (Aussie version of the 9A sold in UK) which was a real brick weighing in at 800g! This was in 1987 just after the analogue network first opened up in Sydney. This phone could store numbers but had no text to store the name so you had to know which memory location had the number you wanted. An "alpha-tag" upgrade came a year later and I had the phone upgraded and it seemed like the perfect unit. It cost AUD$5500 which is about £2000.

Had many phones since then including NEC P3, NEC P5, Mitsibushi something-or-other, Nokia 2110, Motorola Star tac 70, 80, X, V3680, Nokia 8210, Nokia 9110, Sony Z5, Nokia 8250, SE T68, T68i, P800 and probably some others I can't even remember!
