has anyone taken apart a v800? upon inspection of the v800 housing it looks quite simple.. but u never know...

It depends on what you want to do really. The whole housing comes loose witha couple of screws as far as I can see. But if you only wish to replace fascias I'm not sure whether or not you need to remove the whole housing in order to loosen up the front fascia.

Can anybody shed some light on this?

i have seen on ebay , that the z800 housing is beening sold in the states , but there is a huge blank rectangle just beneth the speaker, am i correct to say its for the quickshare sticker? if so , where do u buy the sticker?

no tools are required, only your fingernails. Just use your fingernails to slip between the faceplate and the shell, near the buttons when closed, and lift.
