Just a heads up.
Was in my local CPW today and noticed that they had the grey 580i sim free for £199.99. Upon closer inspection I noticed that there was a sign that it was available on PAYG for £150.
I got the assistant to give me a demo and he advised that it was actually £129.99 on Orange PAYG but with a £10 credit if paying by card.
Of course, the phone is actually a totally untouched GSM handset so I got my new beauty for £139.99....well impressed.
I am sure that this was a mistake or something as it is by far the cheapest I have seen the phone for. I did see the screen though and it was clearly on there at that price. Even the sales guy was shocked.
Am sure CPW did this when the w850i first came out but pushed the price up by about £100 after a few days. |

I live in Cardiff.
There are actually 3 CPW in the city centre alone and I bought the handset from the large main store on Queen Street. |

I can confirm, I got a s500 from CPW today at £139 including the £10 credit on Orange PAYG.
Quite a good deal when the handset alone is £179. And the phone is unlocked. |

Cool, wasn't sure if that was a black or yellow one. Does the s500i have a radio like the w580i?

I bought a Nokia 5300 3 days ago on Virgin for £50+£10 credit. I went to get it unlocked but they wanted £35. That was too much. I tried another SIM the next morning and it worked!

Just phoned one of my local CPW and they stock the W580i on Orange, but it's £150 (subject to £10 credit as well).
Must have been a mistake or just a limited time.

Think it was a limited time thing....still a good price at £150 though! |

Sounds like quite a good deal. Thin, stylish, and for the sporty. Should prove popular.
Still waiting in Australia though...
