Hi folks!!
I joined on Nov 12, 2001 and have enjoyed many laughs, much good information ! Read about some battles!! And I also learnt to use the search!
I think perhaps I am the 32 member here at Esato but quite a few before me have zero posts or had last posted in 2004 or 2003!
Maybe if we delete the 15 members above me with 0 posts, and those who have not posted for a few years, then Oh My God! I get soooooo close to Laffen !
And yes, I nipped over to the dark side and use a Sharp 902 Ferrari!
but I still use a 802se with my Tungtsen T3 pda and wish I could have all that these do for me in one device! Maybe the P990 or W950 will do for me!
I think I will be brave and post a photo or two !
This is called Zazen and when the persons meditation wanes somewhat, the priest taps you on the shoulder, and you say in your best Japanese,
どうもありがとうございます!! 'Thank you very much!' and then you tilt your head so you can receive a good whack on the shoulder !
Now then, the other shoulder would be envious, so you can move your head to the other side, and let that one get the treatment too! Thwackkkk!!!
And of course, you need to say 'thanks!' again!! And clear your mind, of the burn spreading through your shoulders...........
One more photo! This is a special outside bath made from a huge Sake barrel. It is called 樽の湯 or 'Taru no Yu!'
Maybe Laffen will ban me for my topless photo, but I take the chance!
There was plenty of room in the huge sake barrel, and I am pleased to say, the young lady who took that photo, then climbed in!
Of course, I closed my eyes...............
And now you know why mobile phone shutter sounds cannot be slienced in Japanese phones!!
Well, here's to my next 1,000 posts! Maybe I won't take so long!!
Best wishes to everyone!! And a special thanks to Laffen for setting up Esato, and to all the moderators who make it tick...
And for those who helped me with great advice!
Thanks to all!

I joined Jan 2002 and now at 919 posts. Didn't notice you as an ESATO DONATOR though keeping the site going so spoils your "Saint-Hood"
Don't agree with wiping infrequent users because I must have had nearly a years gap before being back on Esato again! I still remember my T68 days fondly
Currently on a beloved P910i agonising over whether to get a P990i.

Hi Psikey!
" Don't agree with wiping infrequent users !"
Yes, that was a bit of a tease because quite a few ahead of me have '0' posts!!
" Didn't notice you as an ESATO DONATOR though keeping the site going so spoils your "Saint-Hood"
I think getting into that Sake barrel bath went a long way to spoiling my Saint-hood!

Hi,
i thinks me will catch up with you long time members of esato some time....this is my 228th post, and i've only been a member since 11th February, this year!!! - so....i hope that esato lives forever, well...aslong as it can do! - and also...i forgot that not all esato members are teens/young adults - infact...if you look at it, its probably the other way round. i was just rather suprised at your age - sorry! - i am only 13....so i have a fair number of years of esatoing left....and also, once people have over 500 posts, why does it not keep on telling all users their number of posts? - and also, once you reach over the 500 posts, how do you find out your post number?!?

To find out your post number just click on your profile (below one of your posts).
Dont know the reason why laffen has decided to keep all users posts as only saying 500, i think its a good idea tho.

hmm....are you hinting that that's what i do?!?!? - i seriously don't! i help people and almost always (well...i have done some of them kinda posts!) post interesting -ish posts....well...i'm currently involved in the hobnob thread...but other than that and maybe another couple...i've always written in the other threads. i may not be quite so helpful as the older members, but i can normally point people in the right direction or tell them who to ask for help if i don't know.

Just for interest, maybe we should run an age poll.
I'm 40 next March. And as a near 40 yo I still get latest phone, have iPOD, PSP, XBOX360 and soon a PS3. And yes, I still eye-up the tallent down town
Age is not an issue these days as men especially never grow up anyway |

" hmm....are you hinting that that's what i do?!?!? "
Oh no! Everything is OK..! And I received lots of helpful advice, and had no idea of the age of the advisor!
@psikey!
I was 52 on the 12th of this month...
and next February, I hope to run the Tokyo Marathon then follow it with the London Marathon! And then I will look like 62 !!
I don't think I am the oldest here, and I am sure masseur will find a 'who is the oldest Esatonian?' thread!
