Please help me, I'm desperate... Recently I had T68i and HBH-30 headset has worked quite well with it. Now I have P800, I follow strictly the pairing procedure. After the pairing the first incoming call activate P800's Bluetooth and it is receipted by HBH-30, but during next call P800 doesn't have indication (the blue flash) nor HBH-30 receipts the call, such as the phone doesn't recognize a Bluetooth device in a range.
Please help, that's really unpleasantly. |

Reset the BT headset.. Clear the headset from the phone. And repair. I believe this is a somewhat common problem with the P800. The BT headset would work only after the initial pairing and not work afterwards. However, the aforementioned steps should help clear it up.

I had similar problems, leave bluetooth 'on' and not on automatic afterpairing and whilst you are using the headset. This cured my problems. |

Lambert is right. If I leave BT On instead of Auto it works. But it's not normal and I'd prefer to keep in Auto in order to save the battery charge.
BigFeat, I've done the initial pairing (including reset of BT headset)several times but doesn't help. |

I found leaving the bluetooth on all day really didn't make a lot of difference, it was the actual using the bluetooth connection that drained the battery quicker. |

The same thing happpened to me after I paired my HBH-30 to my brand new Z600 then. Thereafter I failed to get a bluetooth connection with my P800. So what I did was to reset the headset and now everything is OK.
I leave my bluetooth in my P800 to automatic, cos it really makes a difference in the battery life.

OK, now I found another situation. I put the phone's BT ON and HBH-30 works flawlessly. Then I turned back to AUTO and the first incoming call has been receipt by the headset. The next try on connection fails.
So, if there isn't solution my recommendation to SonyEricsson is on P800 to be removed the option AUTO from BT list as usless one. |

Check the firmware of your p800.if it is the old one you might have this problem.I solve mine with a software updade because some files were missing. Also after you finish instalation of BT make sure you have the BT on, not disciverable or auto. |

Fast+Furios, this is the qestion. Why do I have AUTO mode in case I cannot use it. If you have P800 you know the life of the battery between two charges is not so long. I'm already equpied with a lot of chargers- one at home, one at the office, one in the car...... how many more do I need in this case???
Sorry about the tone in an angry but I'm realy dissapointed. I have used Ericsson for long years, starting with R320, then T65, T68i and I really haven't had such problems as we have with P800. By the way the firmware is CXC162002 R1D, Bluetooth CXC1259 R2C. Are they really old. Anyway I'll contact the supplier. |

Yes your firmware is the old one. Also a friend of mine had a similar problem. At the end we found that his BT was fallen from a significant height on the ground. That cause some wiring conection problems inside his BT.Eventualy he got a replacement (a new one). And yes it did solve my problem by having it on rather auto. its not the correct way of doing it but at least it solve my problem.if you come up with any new ideas after seeing the suplier let me know please. |
