Heard can be resolved by firmware upgrade. Call Orange and ask for a service centre address (shop) a get an upgrade. Also see thread here on Orange P900 firmware updates. |

wow, really quick response, thanks Pah.
I am with Vodafone so will phone them and ask about it, I have already upgraded the firmware on the ericcson site but it doesnt hurt to try.
I was lucky and got my phone very quickly from onestopphoneshop and Im not sure about risking sending it back after seeing teh posts here :-/

Yo Matey
My P900 takes pictures just perfect without the line you mentioned.
I have a strong feeling, that all the P900s from OSPS are actually Sony rejects coz soo many people have problems who have recieved new P900s from them, also justifies why they are flogging them so cheap.
I am glad i cancelled my order and got mine from mobileshop.com, very happy with my P900. Absuoluty no probs at all.
Dont know what others think?

O2 shops have been the cheapest; free P900 on the £45 per month tariff. I don't think we can assume OSPS buys rejects - I can't see SE could make so many rejects!

SE would never allow rejects to be sold (that's why their called rejects )
However - pictures from my T610 R3C has those same ugly lines...

jah, you could be right, however looking over all the threads there have been a fair few complaints with P900 on Orange from OSPS.
Nonetheless, if its firmware issue then i guess it will be resolved.
I have known companies to replace faulty handsets with other defective ones they have in stock. Just something to be aware.
No worries.. keep up with the forum..

I do agree with Jah not Pah
I dont think they will sell defects. You probalbly have a bug in the camcorder. Report the problem to SE and their might be a fix in the next uppgrade.

You have to go to www.sonyericsson.com/support type in your phone modell (P900, I presume), than click on "contact us". You will here check which region and what type of problem you have. This will lead you to the right contact info.
Good luck

I had the same fault on my T610 and that was a hardware fault in the camera module.
I am waiting for spare parts for my P900 that needs a new camera module too.
The pictures are yellow and has a darker part in the right corner

@tulwinn
when did you recieve your P900 from OSPS? Presumably you've read the long thread about how poor they are. Personnally I've been waiting nearly three weeks for a replacement from them so if you got yours yesterday how come I didn't |
