Hi folks,
At the end of my tether with this damn docking station. Just upgraded my PC, rebuilt, installed XP, and now I can't get the docking station to work. Keeps saying mRouter has performed an illegal operation.
I DID have it working before, but can't now.
Has anyone got a good FOOL PROOF method of getting this to work. I've a stack of photos I want to upload to my PC, but now can't.
Using McAfee as a Firewall, which HAS been disabled, but still no joy.
Cheers folks

I know how you feel. The other day I had a problem wih PC Suit. I found that if I did not unistall it before re-install the problem persisted. I assume you doe all the usual thing like using the latest PC Suit s/w from the SE site and updated XP to the latest SP etc. My only suggestion is that you uninstall the MacAfee firewall - when I had this I found I had warning messages even though I had turned all the options off. good luck. |

Yeah programs like McAffee and Norton can interfere with your system even if that have been 'disbaled'. Defibitely try uninstalling McAffee and then try using the docking station.

uninstall Mc Afee.
download and install the newest sync station program from SE for the P900, it is 100% compatible with XP and the P800.
uninstall the old sync program before installing the new one, then reboot.

Process of elimination. Try PC Suite without McAfee and then re-install this and see what happens. Then you can try SE support and McAfee support and see if there is a solution. |
