Brando or Overlay Plus? |

It's horses for courses I think - I prefer the Brando.
My main reason for this is that it doesn't really show up fingerprints, so I don't find myself wiping it all the time and getting annoyed when something gets on it!
It sounds to me like although the Overlay Plus lets more light through, it needs to be wiped more often (although probably less than the actual screen).
I think the Brando is better for use with fingers.
I'm only going on what I've heard, so if anyone has both and could make a comparison that would be grand

i'm using Brando which i recently bought. i used Brando too before, but the one fitted for an m505... and i just cut it. i noticed that the one designed for the P800 is thinner.
i use brando coz it's thick, and yes, no matter how much i use my fingers for tapping it doesnt retain any fingerprints. |

Same with me, I went for a Brando and I now don't bother using my stylus except for the really fiddely buttons.
I also like the slightly rough feel to it when you write on it. Took a few days to get used to at first but i had a go at writing on the original screen the other day and it feels odd that there is no resistance to it

well...i have always sung the praises of o+. I have always used my phone with flip on. But recently I decided to try and use the phone flip off as it does look prettier, but I definately find it more fiddly to use the phone.
I can see where people are coming from about fingerprints on the o+, yes it does get covered and yes the brando doesn't get fingerprint marks and is nicer to write on.
I just found in daylight especially it was harder to see the screen with the brando on, now with my o+ i dont have any problems.
Now, if we could have the texture and fingerprint resistance of the brando coupled with the incredible clarity of the o+ we would be in screen protector heaven!!
It's a tough one......well not really, after all, its only a bleeding bit of plastic! |

Unfortunately, I think it's the Brando's qualities that make it harder to see through - this might mean that it's not possible to combine both.
You never know though

Yeh we want an Uber Screen protector!!!!
I'd be happy to pay around double for something with all the good qualities mentioned above however I think you're right.
Due to Brando being a slightly rough material... it is this that makes it nicer to write on, more resistant to finger prints but yeh as there is an uneven surface the light is distorted through it slightly and you end up with a slightly darker or more saturated colour. |

...which I also find reflects less light!

I used to use a Brando, however since trying the Overlay Plus I do prefer that because its crystal clear - the Brando is a little dull (some people like that however).
If anyone wants either by the way, I have loads in stock, my Ebay auctions are here: http://cgi6.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewSellersOtherItems&userid=petem95&include=0&since=-1&sort=3&rows=25
But PM or email me and I'll sell one direct for less, Brando £7.45 or Overlay Plus £8.95 (50p P&P for either).
Cheers
Pete

Bloomin hek, I must have some REAL greasy fingers cuz my Brando's covered in my finger prints. I have to clean it like 37 times aday!
I have to admit though that the thickness of Brando does feel good. However, I've noticed that after having removed it a few times since 1st putting it on, several rips and scratches have appeared - and before anyone asks, no I dont treat it roughly. Infact, people take the p*ss outta me cuz of the way I treat my phone with so much tender loving care and attention!
I'm gonna buy the overlay soon (when I order my 128 duo) Hopefully it fairs better than the Brando

My o+ does not really show up finger prints i use my finger on it alot and i love the clarity you get you hardly know its there. the stylus glides over the smooth surface its great for writing on.

@Scouser...
You need to take your Brando off, wash it, and put it on the right way round!
