Does anyone know a store in London where I can buy that plug so I can use normal headphones with my P800?
Cheers

im so impressed with ppl that make links like that rather than, say, a link to www.maplin.com on its own. Well done sir.
However - is that definately the right adapter? It doesnt look like it to me but I'd love to be corrected...

the only down side with the one from maplins is that it sticks out so much. |

Was that similar to the one shown at Maplin? I'm interesed in getting one which has the same shape 2.5mm plug as the standard P800 headphones. i.e. jack plug and cable at a right angle to each other and then the 3.5mm socket on a cable.....hold on this is pointless I must be able to find a picture.
Ahh I want one like this one but from a shop in the UK.

razorbee & kearnage
Forget the Maplin one *it is an accident waiting to happen*, the design is rubbish it sticks out so much and therefore it acts as a pivot.
I think the 2.5 to 3.5 adapter from http://pc-mobile.net/sp800.htm is a *must have* as it is cheap (I bought 2 for less than a tenner) and is delivered from somewhere in Surrey within 2 days
I find the quality with the adapter Koss porta pro and Ogg as fantastic.
Hope this helps

ps
thank you to the guy (Andy P?) who got me give ogg another try after poor inital tests

ShibbyLicious,
the one you got from Sony... is it a straight one like Maplin's or the bend one with small cable. I would not mind a sony for that price if its convinient |

Besides the Maplins one is a MONO converter, not much cop for Stereo headphones...

I got one of those things from Maplin after two problems:
1- got the 79p one which was mono - make sure it's the stereo one, which is about 3 or 4 quid if I remember correctly.
2- I tried at least a dozen high street shops and half of them didn't even know what I was talking about.
So.... get the STEREO on from Maplin's |
