In an Arabic forum I’ve read a post with the subject: P800 works as a TV

The guy said that he’s using a TV tuner from a Sony palm TV and he make some major changes with the main board so now he be able to receive the local TV channels with his phone ….. Good creation.

A downloadable file containing photos and a movie of this innovation:

The MOV files not working here is a file with two WMV files:

The sony ms duo tv tunner was connected through the ms duo and there was a little tv antana.

So are you saying that he made major modifications to the hardware in order for this to work, so it's not likely to be released as an add-on? Or was this purely for testing purposes? If so, how would a finished product connect? MS Duo? Bottom connector?

I think that if it connects via the MS Duo they should make a unit that also includes a bigger battery, larger battery cover and any of the additional components so that while it will inevitably make the phone bigger at least it's all in one unit and would not adversely affect battery life. Can you imagine what it'd do to the battery otherwise?????
