.....sonyericsson make the crappest phones!
follow me on this.
ive had my p800 a few months now and paid £600 for it. now the piece of shite is kaput and se say its my fault. watch out it will happen to you!
firstly it cant even carry out the basic feature of a phone............to make calls!
instead it does one of 3 things
1-says 'emergency calls only'
2-i get the white screen of se
3-more recently it just runs out of battery and dies on me within two hours of charging!
se claim i overcharged the phone even though i made sure i only charged it every 2-3 days! bastards. i thought they learnt about customer service from the t68 nightmare.
im on my 3rd p800.
i want se to give me a new phone or battery at least.
i wish to email this thread to se so please post all your negative points on se phones, particularly the p800.
please do not post if you are an se arse-licker i want ass-kickers. none of that
"my p800 great, never crashes, battery lasts for months!" lying bastards.
now using 8910i. decent phone to be honest.
although i hate se i know im gonna buy z1010.
ps-many thanks to asskicker

Well all p800 are not like yours, if they were then no one would buy them. So it must be bad luck or you are doing something wrong?

I have had mine and never returned its been great.

Mines fine two, and it was bought in January... Only a couple of scratches on the screen, but hardly noticable. The battery lasts for three days (normal use, not playing and surfing all day).

I suppose you dont want too hear from people who are happy with their p800's, well sorry but i have been using mine at full memory capacity for over FIVE months with NO problems, some of your complaints are network related, but it does seem you have been unlucky, as long as you now have a phone your happy with (whatever the make) then i'm glad to hear it

The fact that your p800 is sh1t does'nt mean "all se phones are sh1t"
both my t68 and t610 work fine!

Would it be possible that there could be a virus out there for the p800!

Think about it. So many happy user with no dramas at all, then you have your old one or two with drama after drama. They have two or three different ones and all have dramas with them all!

It would be like you get the virus, copy some files onto your computer from p800 and then the phones eats its battery and just dies all the time. Then you get your new p800 copy infected files back onto the new p800 and then same story! Eats battery and crashes all the time!

Battery situation is:

Screen light on auto!
Power Save 2mins!
Screensaver None!
Always close unused apps after use!

Follow those steps and you should get 2 to 3 day with heavy to good use!

I think since P800 is available. I cant find any phone that can match with it.

This phone is really worth and is a best buy.
I like the writing recognition the best. (thumb has a better result than the pen, try it yourself)

However, this is not a easy phone to be use. You need to have some technical background to pick up quicker.

P800 is not a phone, it is a new device.
