Hello guys,
Is there any way to make a call through Bluetooth between two phones? ... Good idea isn't it?

If you can use BT, that would mean you're no more then 10m apart from eachother... Wouldn't it make more sense to just talk to eachother without the phones?

That would not be possible unless you had some kinda of software which works like IP phonesystems. You would need a form of server to transfer the calls. My idea would be.. one computer with a bluetooth device to connect the phones to and then have the computer just like a pabx. And then some very small software in the phone which connects to the computer via the bluetooth and then gives an address of some sort, preferably an IP address. Hmm.. *mind went blank might make some more input later*

I think the range will be more than 10m, and it's nice to have such a thing (but without carrying a laptop to run this feature)

Well there are devices which provides you with BT at 100m instead of 10m. And you do need a form of transporter for the calls which needs to give the phones some sort of address like in a network. Otherwise you wont be able to call using BT if it would work.
