I really like your idea...if it's feasible, you can be sure i won't be using the flip anymore. |

The image of the virtual flip is stored in "Z:\System\Apps\Flipkeypad" and the file is called Flipkeypad.mbm |

There's a cool FREE program to edit mbm files on your PC and you can also use it to convert from mbm to pretty much anything and then back again...
You can get it from http://www.xnview.de/
I had a go at editing the original one but of course with no way of putting it back on the Z: drive it was all rather academic!
As I have loads of spare time at the moment I also created a Flipkeypad directory in c:customapps & c:systemapps & c:systemstartup and copied the amended mbm together with all other files from z:systemappsFlipkeypad to see if it used any of these in preference to the Z: version....
If only life was that easy eh?!!

i think there is no way for a regular user to alter the information on Z drive; that's why it is called a ROM (Read Only Memory) drive; you can read but no write on it! |

I have created a VKeyb in jpg format. I open it with XnView, but how do I save it as an mbm file, so that all colours are still there. When I save it as a mbm file and view the file it's only in grayscale.
please help
