Rang Orange and wanted to Lengthen my ring tone before the answermachine kicked in, I was told to press **61*.

each time you do this it lenghtens the time before the divert the answermachine kicks in by 5 seconds, and you can do it more than once.

This may only work for P800s on Orange UK
I don't know the code to shorten it, so be careful!!

Orange UK divert code

Short note to give key for Orange users to adjust the time before the divert to answerphone cuts in.

**61*07973100123*11*xx#ok

The xx is where you enter the time from 5 secs to 30 secs in increments of 5 secs. ie: 5-10-15-20-25-30.

I think you will find this applies to all UK gsm nets. Certainly does for O2 but there is a max of 30 seconds so I have rerecorded all my home written tunes to 30 secs. Sounds better.

Any ideas on how to get this to work on T-Mobile in UK...tried all teh above and no go...gives me network error...rung up T-Mobile myself and asked them..they gave me something similar to the one above but when i put it in and press ok..it just tells me that my diverts are activated....so when i rung them back they said it wasnt guaranteed to work with the p800...but said they can disable it completely...so when i asked how i enable....i was told u have to ring back....???....sound pretty stupid if me if u ask me...

"T-Mobile" and "stupid" are kind of starting to sound the same. For example: Saddam is T-Mobile, sounds like, Saddam is stupid...

Stupid = T-Mobile = Stupid = T-Mobile (and so on...)

Try not to block with your face when I am beating you Mr. Nokia ;o)
