MySymbian - problem with email |

Strong words maybe but i have continually had problems trying to become a member there.
All my blueyonder accounts are banned !!! for no reason
Set up a hotmail acount and registered that which went through ok but i never recieved an activation Url !!!
Now i lost all interest in joining but please post here if you have had trouble too because i know im not the only one and may be the admins will sort it out.

You need to register by using a "legitimate" mail address. |

I meant like your ISP's mail. Hotmail and a couple of others are banned there, due to problems of the past. |

My Blueyonder account was also banned.....
i had to register using my freeserve email address.....
i think there is a problem using bluyonders emails accounts on this site. |

Hi, there's no trouble with My-symbian. They did that because there were spams with hotmail and blueyoder. So i suggest you register with yahoo mail or other email account. |

Ok well firstly its My-Symbian, not MySimbian, and to make it sound like the whole of My-Symbian is crap is just totally wrong.
Your subject should be something more like "the email address acceptance policy in the My-Symbian forum is crap".
I personally think that My-Symbian is a good forum with knowledgeable people who have provided interesting discussion and solutions on many occassions whereas Esato is also a good forum but does tend to get crap threads from time to time, much like this one I suppose!

My reply is that I was actually talking about the originator (beljim) of each thread... i.e. the whole thread of the two that I was referring to was by the same author of the same topic.
My life is actually fanastic by the way!
Maybe that should be my new tagline!  ... nah.. that would be too sad!
