Please correct me if i am wrong.

i have 2 pcs, both have pc suite installed on them. First pc has no probs but the second one i cant get the phone to connect.

First pc has the usb port on com 3 and the second one has the usb on com port 4.

I believe i need to get the usb responding on com port 3 inorder for the second pc to have no probs

If so how do i go about doing this?

By the way i have tried everything in terms of pci slots and modem settings.

Right click on the <-//-> icon in the systray icons.
Select properties, and activate wahtever ports do you want to be listening to. [addsig]

Yep i have got imesh installed and i believe ever since i installed it, phone connection stopped responding. But how on earth does it make com port 3 unavailable ?

Also when i uninstalled imesh completely i still had the same problem.

I am using win xp pro sp1 on p4 asus motherboard and have no idea in how to resolve the problem.

I had a problem with mine as well.
I fixed it by enableing all the com ports and the clicking on the troubleshooting button, in the phone manager program (appears in control panel of pc.) A wizard type window popped up and this fixed it without me having to do much else. Ever since then my connection has been fine.

Hey guys!

Im using a WIDCOMM Bluetooth Software. The File Transfer (both ways) worked fine until I installed .NET Framework 1.1.. after that it comes up with a shitty error saying "Remote device denied the connection"

What is the solution to this?

I too am on a WinXP SP1 PC...

My Serial Port connects via COM0 which i checked is no where on the COM PORT LIST.

Can anyone help!
