Some observations:
I own a phone powered with the Microsoft Mobile 2003 phone edition (probably the same as the one shown in the picture) and the keypad intrigues me.
The screen / button layout of the phone software is different from the keypad layout shown in the picture. This means that "pegs under the keypad trick" (same as p800) won't work. So the keypad must be electronically connected to the phone (like the P900). This would mean that the hardware buttons (individual numbers, call, reject, etc.) of the keypad must be mapped in the microsoft dialer software... Someting that doesn't seem possible in the 2003 version. Although I can remap the functionalities of the hardware buttons, individual numbers aren't present selectable functions. (Asus must be coming up with their own dialer software.) |
